Manipulating photonic signals by a multipurpose quantum junction

چکیده

We address a prototype integrated quantum circuit model system: multifunctional junction comprising three-level atomic nodes that couple two waveguides. consider with the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}$ scheme of allowed optical transitions, one which is driven by an external classical electromagnetic field. demonstrate latter field can be used to control mode device operation: studying dynamics pulses, we show proposed operate as controlled router or switch, 1/4 splitter, delay line, storage node. The system offers also possibility intrinsic parallelism operations and provide useful guidelines for making possible future circuitry building blocks more scalable integrated.
